An Evening with Josh Morningstar

February 3, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Josh Morningstar—father, husband, troubadour, former addict, inmate and fighter—will share his story for the first “Book Cellar Benefit” concert at Viewpoint Books. The basement is a unique, intimate venue perfect for Josh’s blend of music and storytelling.

Josh uses music, humor and storytelling, to spread his message and inspire audiences all over the country. Check out Josh’s songs here:

Josh writes and plays his own music as well as covers of old-time, traditional country legends. He’s also in recovery from a heroin addiction and talks openly about his daily effort to stay clean.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event cost $15 in advance. We’re hoping to seat 75-80 people, so don’t wait long if you want a chair. If seats are available, tickets will be $20 at the door. To get yours, stop by or call Viewpoint Books between 10AM – 6PM, Monday through Saturday. All proceeds will be donated to support ASAP-BC. There’s no smoking and we won’t be serving adult beverages, so all ages are welcome. Parents should listen to Josh’s songs first; his honest, powerful lyrics might be a little stronger than the words you use at home.
