Foster and Kinship Care Day In The Park

You’re invited to Beloved’s 3rd annual Foster and Kinship Care Day In The Park!  On Sunday, May 7th, join our appreciation team at Donner Park as we celebrate the people who care for our community’s most vulnerable kids.  Are you a foster or kinship care provider looking for support and a fun event for you and your kids?  From 2:00 – 4:00 PM, foster and kinship care families are invited to come by the Shelterhouse for games, prizes, food, professional family photos, and an opportunity to connect with local support resources.  Interested in learning more about foster care in a no-pressure environment?  Come to our Lunch and Learn at noon to find out what steps are involved and what pitfalls to avoid.  Are you a social worker who serves kids and families?  Join our Social Worker Appreciation hour at 1:00 PM, where we will surround you with support and fun door prizes.   Visit belovedbags.org for more information.
